  15. Here is what it has been tested and known to work with:

  18.     - digital audio applet
  19.     - compact disc applet
  20.     - CD explorer
  21.     - bigben2
  22.     - dmplayer 1.0
  23.     - video player / Ultimotion (16-bit audio is nicer)
  24.     - wave doctor
  25.     - audio recorder (in playback mode)
  26.     - multimedia mahjongg
  27.     - GUSmixer (even while the device is in use!)
  28.     - play.cmd (thanks to TFS for reminding me about this one)

  31. INSTALLATION
  32.  
  33. IMPORTANT:  This driver requires the MMPM CSD.  If you do not have it
  34. installed, the installation will fail (as it should) and not add anything
  35. to your CONFIG.SYS.  The MMPM CSD can be found at ftp-os2.cdrom.com in
  36. /pub/os2/ibm/os2fixes as MMPMCS.DSK.
  37.  
  38. Unzip ultra02a.ZIP to a subdirectory or floppy.  Run MINSTALL and select that
  39. directory as source and then follow the directions.  Note that MINSTALL will
  40. modify your CONFIG.SYS to append the driver line.  This shouldn't be a
  41. problem as I have done it numerous times without a glitch.  Also note that
  42. the driver can be uninstalled by selecting the number of Ultrasounds to
  43. install as zero.

  45. NOTE: If you have installed Dennis Ernst's driver, you may have to re-install
  46. MMPM from scratch and then re-apply the its CSD before installing this driver.
  47. The recommended sequence for this is:
  48.  
  49.     1. run dinstsnd.cmd in /MMOS2/INSTALL
  50.     2. remove all references to MMOS2 drivers and DLLs from CONFIG.SYS
  51.     3. shutdown
  52.     4. remove MMOS2 directory and all subdirectories
  53.     5. re-install MMPM
  54.     6. re-apply MMPM CSD
  55.     7. install the driver
  56.     8. enjoy

  59. KNOWN BUGS OR PROBLEMS

  61.     - still clicking too much for my liking in Ultimotion
  62.       ... working on it

  64.     - stereo wav may corrupt device
  65.       ... closing application and restarting it fixes it
